1、 Tablet display
1. Preparation of Transparent Conductive Film:
ITO target material: used for manufacturing transparent electrodes for screens such as liquid crystal displays and organic light-emitting diodes, with extremely high requirements for conductivity and transparency, and a purity of over 99.999%.
IZO target material: suitable for flexible display screens and touch screen electrodes, especially in foldable devices with better performance than ITO.
2. Thin film transistor: Metal targets are used to form circuit wire layers, while alloy targets are used for magnetic components.
The application accounts for about 34%, making it the largest downstream market for target materials.
2、 Solar photovoltaic
1. Transparent conductive oxide layer: ITO/IZO target material: used as an electrode layer for thin film solar cells to enhance photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Zinc oxide target material: applied to the conductive layer of dye-sensitized solar cells, balancing transparency and conductivity.
3、 Semiconductor Integrated Circuit
1. Ultra high purity metal target materials: copper, titanium, aluminum, and other interconnects, contact layers, and barrier layers used in chip manufacturing, with a purity requirement of 99.9995% or higher.
2. Compound semiconductor: Indium phosphide target material is used for optical communication lasers and high-speed detectors.
4、 Energy saving building materials and optical components
Low radiation glass: The thermal insulation film layer prepared by IZO target material can reflect infrared radiation and transmit visible light, significantly reducing building energy consumption.
Optical coating: Target materials such as nickel oxide and titanium dioxide are used for lens anti reflection coatings, anti reflection coatings, and decorative coatings.
5、 Other fields
Sanitary equipment: Titanium targets are used for surface coating of artificial joints to enhance biocompatibility.
Information storage: Cobalt chromium platinum alloy target material is used for magnetic recording media.
Tool modification: Tungsten carbide target material improves tool wear resistance.
The core value of flat target materials lies in endowing the substrate with conductive, optical, protective and other properties through thin films, making them an indispensable basic material for high-end manufacturing.
